Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough reacted to President Trump‘s tweets on Friday, and the couple alleged that they once received “blackmail” from the White House about how they better change their coverage, or they’ll face a negative piece from the National Enquirer.
“We got a call that, ‘Hey, the National Enquirer is going to run a negative story against you guys,'” said Scarborough. “And they said, ‘If you call the president up, and you apologize for your coverage, then he will pick up the phone and basically spike this story.”
The Enquirer story reports that Joe and Mika “started hooking up while married to other people.”
The mag says the couple has been “sneaking around” since 2013.
It also purports that the couple “rushed into an engagement after our investigation threatened to expose their illicit affair.”
The story refers to Mika as Joe’s “President Trump bashing sidekick.” It says Scarborough pays out a hefty monthly sum in “hush money” to his ex-wife Susan Waren so she won’t reveal details about the cheating.
The story quotes an alleged grocery store owner near Mika’s abode as saying he’s seen the lovebirds countless or “hundreds” of times.
Ah, yes, the unnamed grocery story owner. Great source National Enquirer. “Hundreds” of times, huh? Shouldn’t you be doing your job and grocering (yes, that is a made up word)?
Trump and National Enquirer publisher David Pecker are known to have a friendly relationship with each other. While it was not an explicit confirmation, Trump came extremely close to affirming Morning Joe‘s allegations earlier today.
So, yeah, the National Enquirer (American Media, Inc. owns the publication and also run Radar Online, OK! Magazine, Star and Us Weekly) will print anything to support their love of Trump.
