Oh Caitlyn Jenner, you are such a disappointment. Someone definitely needs to get woke.
“First of all, I’m not a one issue voter. I know. I am not stupid,” the 67-year-old reality TV star expressed while making an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday (April 25, 2017). “The Republican Party does not do a good job when it comes to equality and the entire LGBTQ community. The Democrats are better there. But, for me, I have been around a long time. I am probably more conservative.”
“I believe in little things like the Constitution and freedom,” Caitlyn continued. “I believe in minimal government. I believe in the people of this country to get us out of the trouble we are in financially, economically, more than I believe the government will fix this. The people will fix this. And, so, the Republicans have done a better job in that direction.”
“My loyalty is not with Donald Trump,” Caitlyn concluded. “My loyalty is not with the Republican Party. My loyalty is with my community.”
Earlier in the day, Jenner spoke at Manhattan’s 92nd Street Y community center to promote her new book The Secrets of My Life, Jenner clarified that despite voting for Trump in the 2016 presidential election, she would be “coming” for Trump if he continued to “screw up.”
“[It would] be better working from the inside,” she said. “If that is the case…I would seriously look at a run. It just depends where I could be more effective.”
When an audience member during the book interview asked whether she would work in the Trump administration, Jenner said she identifies more with the Republican Party because she believes in “limited government.”
Maybe she can be Kanye West’s running mate.
